Murang'a SEAL Football Club is a professional football club based in Murang'a, Kenya. The club competes in the Kenyan Premier League, the top tier of Kenyan football.

History

Murang'a SEAL was founded in 2016 by businessman Robert Macharia as a grassroots sports mentorship initiative aimed at nurturing underprivileged football talent in the Mount Kenya region. The name SEAL stands for Sports Excellence Academy Ltd.

In 2019, the team was promoted to the Kenyan National Super League (NSL), Kenya's second-tier football division. They finished as runners-up in the 2022–23 season with 69 points, earning promotion to the Kenyan Premier League.

Stadium

The club plays its home matches at St. Sebastian Park in Githuri, Murang'a County. The stadium holds approximately 1,000 spectators.

Ownership and Management

Murang'a SEAL is privately owned. Founder Robert Macharia serves as the club’s president and chairman. As of the 2024–25 season, the team is coached by Yusuf Chipo.
