Murk Light is a 2012 fantasy short film directed by Yasir Al Yasiri and written by Mohammed Al Hamadi.[1]

Plot[edit]
A journey of Hassan & Ibrahim who are two friends seeking the trip of their lives from their simple village to the city. They spend most of this journey on the top of the bus that Hassan works on as a luggage carrier. While going to the city, they both have two different purposes for the trip. For Ibraheem, it represents the dream, and for Hassan its a friendship journey
Release[edit]
The film premiered at the Abu Dhabi Film Festival in UAE winning two awards for best film and best cinematography.[2] The film then was screened at the Tribeca Film Festival, and continued its festival run for more than other 30 film festivals[3]
