Dr. J. Murray Hockings, D.C. (Doctor of Chiropractic)

Dr. J. Murray Hockings, D.C. born June 11, 1964 in Port Colborne, Ontario, Canada, is an internationally recognized expert in natural health, focusing on Type II Diabetes[1], and has been practicing for 23 years. Throughout his career, he has written books about natural science and released Send Your Doctor Packing and Imagine Living Without Type 2 Diabetes. He has regularly appeared on TV in the past 16 years[2], educating patients on how they can become healthy without using medication or surgery. He practiced in the Palm Springs area for 19 years. He has built and sold 4 previous healthcare centers and is the founder of Help Your Diabetes in Dallas, Texas.[3]

Early life and education

Dr. Hockings started his higher education in his home country, Canada, where he majored in Science at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario in 1983–1984. He continued his studies at Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada, in 1984–1985 and at Niagara College in Welland, Ontario, Canada, in 1985. In 1986, he moved to Brenau College in Marietta, Georgia, where he finished his college degree. In the same year, he pursued his Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) program at Life University (formerly Life Chiropractic College), Marietta, Georgia, from 1986 to 1990.[4]

In his early life, he decided to make it a mission to help reverse Type II Diabetes when his aunt died of diabetes when she was only 34 years old, leaving behind a husband and their two adopted children.

Licenses and memberships

Hockings is licensed in the state of California and is a member of the 'American Holistic Medical Association and the American Diabetes Association (ADA).[5]

As a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.), he is trained in wellness, nutrition, and how to get the body healthier without the use of dangerous and toxic prescription medications.
