Museum of Jarramplas

The Jarramplas Museum is a public institution located in Piornal (Cáceres). It's state-owned, and its management is delegated to Junta de Extremadura (Extremadura's autonomic government). It showcases everything related to the Jarramplas festival, a National Interest Tourist Festival which takes place on Piornal on January 19 and 20. The museum is composed by numerous Jarramplas masks that local families have preserved across the years, as well as armors and other complements that make up the complete costume of the character.
