There his team found a temporal device that would lead to the many adventures that would follow. In the end, Alexander and Diana are reunited, and from their union came the leader that would change their world for the better. Rachael would reunite the warring factions into a more tolerant society than either Alexander or Diana had ever seen. Rachael would heal the old wounds that centuries of fighting had produced. And she would do all of this from the past, because the only way to heal the future was to start in the past.
