Muyideen Adewale

Muyideen Adewale currently serves as Information Systems Manager of Contact Solutions Limited, now known as ConSol Limited, a company which was founded in 2004 – one of the leading Call/Contact centre service providers in Nigeria.

Between November 2011 and September 2012, he was a Team Lead of the Information Systems Department of ConSol Limited. During this period, he was the Team Lead for the successful migration of the data centre and the call centre of over 300 seats from the old office to the new office without any downtime or service disruption in 2013. He was also the Project manager for the design and technology deployment of a 120-seat Emergency Contact Centre for Lagos State Government {Lagos State Emergency Command & Control Centre (767 & 112), Alausa, Ikeja, Nigeria} with the project value of 3 Billion Naira Capex and yearly Opex of 210 Million Naira in 2012.

Muyideen Adewale was Regional IT Support Officer of Ecobank Nigeria Limited from November 2008 – December 2010.

He holds a Diploma and BSc degree in Computer Technology and Food Engineering respectively from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria, and an MSc in Information Technology from National Open University of Nigeria.

Muyideen is a versatile technologist, an enthusiastic, dynamic and articulate IT professional with the required skills that can facilitate the business of any organisation by supporting remote clients and providing on-site support in IT Infrastructure such as ATM, POS, Networks, Hardware, Desktops and general IT services that are required to deliver superior customer service.

Muyideen D. Adewale is a computing researcher whose work focuses on artificial intelligence in education, including systematic reviews and predictive modelling in open and distance learning. He has published in peer-reviewed journals such as Heliyon and Electronics.[1][2]

Education

Adewale completed a PhD in Artificial Intelligence at the Africa Centre of Excellence on Technology Enhanced Learning (ACETEL), National Open University of Nigeria. His doctoral thesis is titled A Support Vector Machine-Based Process Framework for Predicting Students’ Academic Performance in Open and Distance Learning.[3]

Career and research

Adewale’s research examines how AI affects learner outcomes in distance education and the design of process-based frameworks for predicting academic performance.[4][5] He has also co-authored a review on human–AI intimacy and synthetic relationships in the Journal of Technology in Behavioral Science.[6]

Adewale has presented work at academic venues; an AFRICOMM 2025 accepted-papers list includes a co-authored article on ethical frameworks for AI in education.[7]
