My Favourite Nemesis
My Favourite Nemesis (MFN) is a metalcore band from Porvoo, Finland. Originally formed in 2012 and attaining its current line-up by 2014. MFN consists of vocalist Janne Piela, lead guitarist / main songwriter Joel Aav, rhythm guitarist Janne Suominen, bassist / vocalist Miro Kiiski and drummer / vocalist Tomi Sakko.
Their first EP release 'Dark Room' was released in May 2017, and has been praised by critics.[1] all over the Finnish metal magazines. The first single after the 'Dark Room' EP, 'Down the Rabbit Hole', was released in January 2018 with a music video which was noticed by several Finnish metal sites[2][3]
In Summer 2018, My Favourite Nemesis finished their first European tour: Losing Sight Tour 2018, followed by the release of 'Losing Sight' single which has since been one of the band’s most successful releases.
The lyrical themes on their songs revolve around personal life experiences and critical views on aspects of modern-day society such as politics, religion and general values.
