Release
The series was initially set to premiere in the United States on HBO on 12 January 2021,[1] and on France 3 on 3 February 2021. In September 2020, HBO and France Télévisions pulled the series from the schedule due to post-production on the series being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.[2] It was subsequently rescheduled for a 12 January premiere in the U.S., and 3 February in France.[3][4]
The first episodes of both the "Summer" and "Winter" parts premiered as part of the Primetime section of the 2021 Toronto International Film Festival on 11 September 2021.[5]
The "Autumn" live event was broadcast live in France on France 5 and streamed for free via the HBO Facebook pages, on 3 October 2021.[3][6][7]
