Mzikitap (founded 27 June 2020), also known as mziki bomba in Swahili,[1] is an African music streaming website & app download service, developed and owned by Mzikitap Inc.[2] Our vision is to build and support the next generation of African artists and content creators in Africa. It is currently the biggest and fastest growing music app in Africa, which is progressively growing day by day.
We are working with Rameyne, Leymo and Icellen, who were signed in 2020. Mzikitap has released albums/EPs such as Rameyne The MVP released by Rameyne. Also, we manage and work with Dj Nguto [3], Chadogi Mc, Chitoto Wauwe[4] and Malkia wa Tandale.
Users can stream songs free of charge. The service is currently available only on Android and Web. The website and app were first launched in Tanzania in 2020.
