NA-KD is a privately owned direct-to-consumer fashion brand for young woman that sells clothes, shoes and accessories[1][2] with a focus on e-commerce[3].

The company's marketing strategy has drawn similarities with that of Boohoo, Missguided and ASOS.[4]

NA-KD stocks around 100 external fashion labels on its website, and ships to 115 markets from its warehouse in The Netherlands.[5] Their private-label brands accounts for 70% of sales.[6][7] In July 2017, NA-KD began expanding into brick-and-mortar, opening its first store in The Netherlands in September 2018 and its second store in Germany in October 2018.[8][9][10]

The company relies heavily on influencers for marketing. By gifting clothes to a network of micro-influencers across Europe, NA-KD has become one of the most mentioned brands on social media, behind Zara, Dior and Calzedonia.[11]

The company was founded in 2015 by Jarno Vanhatapio, founder and former CEO of Nelly.com[12] NA-KD also owns retailers Rut & Circle and Country Dreams.[12] The company raised 140M Swedish Kronor in December 2017 from Northzone and eEquity. Partech Ventures invested $45M USD into NA-KD in January 2018.[13]
