NOLA Caribbean Festival
The NOLA Caribbean Festival showcases Caribbean cuisine, music, dance, and culture while highlighting New Orleans' deeply rooted cultural connections as the Caribbean's northern-most city! The celebration focuses on cultures from around the Caribbean and surrounding nations and fuses them with the rich traditions of New Orleans. The NOLA Caribbean Festival has transformed into a regional destination event with attendees coming in from across 20+ states and numerous countries. The festival itself is two days but the entire weekend consists of seven Caribbean themed events over four days including a Caribbean parade complete with masqueraders, paint vs. powder, steel pan bands, and New Orleans brass bands and Mardi Gras Indians.
