NOVA Information Management School (NOVA IMS), former Instituto Superior de Estatística e Gestão de Informação (ISEGI)[1], is a NOVA University Lisbon faculty[2] with focus in statistics and data science. It was created in 1989[3] (starting its activities in 1990)[4] and is currently located in Campolide, Lisbon.

The institution has more than 3,000 students in both undergraduate and postgraduate courses[5], of which 25% are foreign from 80 different nationalities.[6] It achieved an around 100% employability rate.[7]

Accreditations and Rankings[edit]

It was the first institute in Iberian Peninsula to be part of iSchools.[8] It's also the first European school to be accredited by Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET[9] and the first university outside the United States to be accredited by the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF).[10]

As of 2021, the Master's degree in Information Management, with a specialization in Knowledge Management and Business Intelligence was selected the best Masters program in the world in its field by Eduniversal for the 4th time in a row.[11]
