Nahid Saliani

Biography Nahid Saliani was born in 1315 in Bandar Anzali. After completing her elementary education, she went to Tehran to study at the Girls' Fine Arts Conservatory. She began her academic studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Tehran in the field of sculpture. She completed her studies in sculpture by winning first place and receiving a cultural degree medal in 1338. [2]

Years after graduating from the University of Tehran, she spent a year in sculpture in France. After graduation, she returned to Iran and taught at the Faculty of Fine Arts. While teaching in Iran, Nahid Saliani participated in group exhibitions of academy students in Rome, Florence, and Naples in Italy. [3]

She also participated in the group exhibition of women artists in Paris, in the exhibition of works by contemporary Iranian artists through the Ministry of Culture and Arts, and in the Tehran International Exhibition by the Iranian-French Cultural Association, and her works and sculptures were critically acclaimed. Nahid Saliani, a former professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts, a member of the Art Council of the Tehran Beautification Organization, has judged many biennials and symposia.
