Najee Lopez (born September 9, 1999) is an American professional boxer from Atlanta, Georgia. He is a two-time US amateur champion and began his professional career on August 14, 2020. He is signed with Tim VanNewhouse and has a professional record of 5-0 with 5 knockouts. Lopez is known for his speed, power and ability in the ring. He is determined to make a name for himself in the sport of boxing and become a world champion.

Early life and amateur career[edit]
Najee Lopez was born on September 9, 1999 in Atlanta, Georgia. He developed a passion for boxing at the age of six and began training under his father, Tito Lopez Sr. He went on to compete in 140 amateur bouts, winning two US amateur championships and numerous medals, including Gold medals at the 2015 National Junior Olympics and the 2019 Olympic National Qualifiers, where he also received the Outstanding Boxer Award. Despite his success, his dreams of competing in the Olympics were put on hold when he suffered a cut in his right eye during the second U.S. Olympic trials bout in December 2019. Despite this setback, he was offered the opportunity to compete for the Puerto Rican team, where he finished as the runner-up. However, the COVID-19 pandemic made it difficult for him to travel with the team and compete in tournaments.
Professional career[edit]
Najee Lopez made his professional debut on August 14, 2020 winning via TKO in the fourth round. As of January 2022, Lopez has a record of 5-0, with 5 KOs. He has made smart adjustments as he acclimates to the professional realm and has set his sights on making a mark in the light heavyweight division. Lopez is determined to stay active and fight as much as possible in 2023, with the goal of climbing up the rankings and making a name for himself in the division.
