Namashi Chakraborty is an Indian actor. He is the son of actors Mithun Chakraborty and Yogeeta Bali.[1]
Personal life[edit]
Namashi was born on September 4, 1992 to actors Mithun Chakraborty and Yogeeta Bali in Mumbai. He is the youngest son of Mithun Chakraborty.[2][3] He is a dog lover and usually post pictures with them on his instagram account.[4] He also used to write film reviews with IMDb.com and BatazBuzz.com, under the name Nama Chakraborty.[citation needed] He didn’t finish his studies.[citation needed]
Career[edit]
He started his career being an assistant director on his brother Mimoh Chakraborty's film Ishqedarriyaan (2015).[5] Then in 2017, he appeared in his brother Ushmey Chakraborty’s directorial short film titled Holy Smoke!.[6]
He will be soon making his big screen bollywood debut with Rajkumar Santoshi directorial Bad Boy (2022).[7] He is paired opposite Amrin Qureshi, daughter of producer Sajid Qureshi.[8] The film also stars Mithun Chakraborty, Saswata Chatterjee and Johny Lever in key roles.[9] He is also committed to star in Rajesh Bajaj's India Fashion Factory opposite Nikki Tamboli.[10]
