Namoona is a 1949 Indian film directed by Hira Singh. The movie stars Kishore Sahu, Kamini Kaushal.
Plot
A poor refugee, Jeevan, goes to work in the publication owned by Barrister Kedarnath. He falls for a girl, Rekha, who works at the lawyer's office. Later, he learns that the girl's father has arranged for her to marry Kedarnath, a wealthy heir. Rekha gets involved in a new relationship with a lady called Shyama and a lecher called Lacchu who follows Shyama. However, before the marriage can take place, Lacchu is murdered. Rekha's father is accused of orchestrating the murder. Kedarnath, being a public prosecutor, conducts criminal proceedings. A series of events occur which change the lives of everyone and bring about a surprising conclusion.
