Namoona is a 1949 Indian film directed by Rakesh Kumar. The movie stars Kishore Sahu, Kamini Kaushal.
Plot[edit]
A poor refugee Jeevan goes to work in the publication owned by Barrister Kedarnath. He falls for a girl Rekha, who works at the lawyer's office. Later, he learns that the girl's father has arranged for her to marry Kedarnath, a wealthy heir. Rekha gets in a new relationship with a lady called Shyama and a lecher called Lacchu who follows Shyama. However, before the marriage can take place, Lacchu is murdered. Rekha's father is accused of orchestrating the murder. Kedarnath, being public prosecutor conducts criminal proceedings. A series of events occur which change the lives of everyone and bring about a surprising conclusion.
