Nancy Dahlstrom (artist)

Nancy Dahlstrom is a contemporary American visual artist known for printmaking, drawing, and painting.

Background[edit]

Nancy Dahlstrom was born in 1948. Dahlstrom earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts at SUNY Buffalo and Master of Fine Arts in Printmaking from Ohio University. She lives and works in Fincastle, Virginia. Dahlstrom was professor of art at Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia, from 1973 to 2013.

In summer 2016 Dahlstrom's work was featuring alongside artists Anne Way Bernard, Steve Mitchell, Barbara Norman Lashley, and Kim Lashley-Sutliff at The Market Gallery in downtown Roanoke, Virginia.[1][2] Dahlstrom participated in the 2017 Artist Open Studio Tours in Botetourt County, Virginia alongside Lois Bisese, Ed Bordett, Vera Dickerson, David Eakin, Dreama Kattenberaker, Brett LaGue, Gina Louthian-Stanley, Sharon Mirtaheri, Willie Simmons, Bill White, and Mark Woodie.[3][4][5][6][7]

Dahlstrom served as a judge for the 2014 Bath County Art Show in Bath, Virginia, and the 2016 Amherst Art Show and Sale in Amherst, Virginia.[8][9]
