Nancy Davis
Nancy Davis (born 1976) is an American financial services executive and portfolio manager. She is the founder, managing partner, and chief investment officer of Quadratic Capital Management, based in Greenwich, Connecticut.
Quadratic serves as the investment manager for two exchange traded funds, The Quadratic Interest Rate Volatility and Inflation Hedge ETF (ticker: IVOL).[1] and the Quadratic Deflation ETF (ticker: BNDD)[2]. Both strategies use interest rate options to allow investors to express their macroeconomic views. They are both structured to achieve asymmetric returns using options in which the downside of the option is known and defined, and the upside is uncapped.[3]
Davis writes and speaks about markets and investing. She has been profiled by Forbes[3]. She has appeared at industry events including SALT Las Vegas[4], Opal[5], HedgeWorld[6], AlphaHedge[7], and has been a guest commentator on CNBC, Bloomberg, CBS[8], CNN[9], and ABC[10]

At Goldman, she ran one of the world’s largest volatility portfolios.[11] Prior to founding Quadratic, she served as a portfolio manager at Highbridge Capital Management and in a senior executive role at AllianceBernstein.[12]
Davis founded Quadratic Capital Management in 2013. That year, The Hedge Fund Journal named her as one of "Tomorrow's Titans"[13] and a year later Institutional Investor named her a "Rising Star of Hedge Funds."[11] In 2015, she was named a Rising Star at the 2015 Women in Finance Markets Choice Awards by Markets Media[14] and in 2020 Barron's listed her as among the 100 most influential women in finance.[12]
Quadratic’s first investment vehicle was a limited partnership for accredited investors, and the firm branched into exchange traded funds in 2019.[3]
