Nando Medina whose full name is Diego Fernando Rios Medina, was born on March 4, 1970 in Cali, Colombia. It was in Cali where he began his high school at the San Juan Bautista Catholic School, obtaining his degree as an industrial Bachelor Degree in Electronic in 1986. Subsequently, NM began his university studies at the age of 17 at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Cali, from which he graduated as Computer Systems Engineer at the age of 22 years in 1992. His professional career as an Engineer started at Goodyear Rubber and Tires Company in December 1990, even before he graduates, working as a support engineer for the Finance and Human Resources division. He was later appointed as the implementation leader for the Latin America region, where he had the opportunity to lead work-teams in Argentina, Brazil, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru, Chile, and Venezuela until June 1999.

In June of 1997 he took photography classes as part of one of the continuing education programs at Universidad del Valle, in the city of Cali-Colombia. In the same year he started his postgraduate degree in "Management in one page" at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, but did not complete it due to the constant work trips demanded by his position in Goodyear.

In July 1999 he settled in New York City, where his career turned into a complete different path. There, he took classes in "Multimedia Production" as part of the continuing education program at NYU. In May 2010 he graduated from his Master's Degree in "Communications Arts" from the NYIT-College of Arts & Sciences, and later in May 2016 his M.B.A. from the NYIT-School of Management [1] .

At an early age, he showed a great interest for photography and fashion. Since he was a child, he grew up in between fabrics and fashion paper patterns in his mother's sewing workshop, where he used spend time with her while he created his own sketches. It is thanks to this influence that Medina decides to venture into the world of fashion, creating style and image for a generation that grows in a world accelerated by technology.
