Narender Kumar (born 31 May 1996) is an Indian mountaineer from Mingni Khera village in Hisar district, Haryana. He summited Lhotse on 16 May 2022 and Annapurna I on 7 April 2025. He has been reported as the first person from Haryana to summit Annapurna I.[1] He also climbed Mount Elbrus on 12 July 2025, part of the Seven Summits.[2]

Narender Kumar is an Ambassador for the Fit India Movement, a flagship initiative of the Government of India aimed at encouraging citizens to adopt healthier and more active lifestyles. He has represented the movement at multiple national-level platforms and was formally flagged off by Fit India officials for his Mount Elbrus expedition in 2025.

Narender Kumar’s journey from a small-town climber to a globally recognized mountaineer is marked by resilience, discipline, and a deep commitment to national pride and social impact. His long-term mission remains to summit Mount Everest, a goal he has pursued since childhood and continues to prepare for diligently.
