Kim Na-ri (Hangul: 김나리; born October 5, 1992) better known as Nari (나리), is a South Korean rapper, singer and dancer. she made her debut in 2013 as a member of Mafia Records' girl group Wassup until their disbandment in February 2019, Nari made her debut as a soloist on November 8, 2019, with the digital single "Favorita".

Career[edit]

2013–2017: Wassup, The Unit and solo activities[edit]

Nari singed with Mafia Records and made her debut as a member of the girl group Wassup under Mafia Records on August 8, 2013 following the release of the group's self-titled digital single.[1]

Nari was featured in Yoo Se-yun's song "I'm Sorry I'm Too Young", Which was released on March 6, 2017. she was also featured on ZSUN's debut single "Ah Yah So Nice", released on August 7, On September 12, Mafia Records confirmed that Nari alongside her fellow-member Jiae, wil be participate as a contestant in KBS2's survival show The Unit. She ranked 21st in the finale, thus being unable to debut with the girl group Uni.T.[2]

2019–present: debut as a Soloist[edit]

On February 10, 2019, all Wassup's members announced via their Instagram that the group had disbanded. Nari's contract with Mafia Records also expired.[3][4]

Nari then singed with Number One Media and made her solo debut on November 8, 2019 with the digital single "Favorita".[5] She promoted the song in music programs such as KBS2's Music Bank and Arirang TV's Simply K-Pop.
