Nashat Latib (born October 31, 1975) is an American emergency medicine physician and functional medicine practitioner who has gained national media attention for her work in functional fertility, which emphasizes lifestyle and nutritional approaches to reproductive health. She is board-certified in emergency medicine and holds certifications from the Institute for Functional Medicine and the American Board of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine. Latib has served as an expert panelist for the Texas Medical Board for 13 years and holds active medical licenses in multiple states.

Early Life and Education

Latib was born in Durban, South Africa. Her family immigrated to the United States when she was a child, settling in Mount Airy, Philadelphia.[1] She became a U.S. citizen in 2001.[2] Latib earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2003[3] and completed her residency in emergency medicine at the Albert Einstein Jacobi-Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx.[4]

Career

Latib has over 22 years of clinical experience as an emergency medicine physician. She is board-certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine[5] and holds medical licenses in Texas, Connecticut, Florida, New York, and California.[6][7]

She has served as an expert panelist for the Texas Medical Board for 13 years.[8] Latib is certified by the Institute for Functional Medicine.[9] She operates Reimagined Health, an online practice focused on functional medicine and fertility.

Latib has appeared in various media outlets discussing health topics.
