Nashville Opera

The Nashville Opera is an opera company based in Nashville, Tennessee which primarily performs at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center or at its own Noah Liff Opera Center. Its earliest production (as the Nashville Opera Guild) was Madame Butterfly in 1981.[1]

In 2007, it hosted the world premiere production of Robert Aldridge's opera Elmer Gantry, an adaptation of the Sinclair Lewis novel of the same name.[2]
