Mixed martial arts career
Early career
Haqparast dedicated his life to MMA and boxing.[4] He started MMA at the early age of 14 years old in his hometown, in Hamburg [5]. He worked hard for more than seven years before being part of the UFC.[6]
The German lightweight is currently training at Tristar Gym in Montreal, Canada with coach Firas Zahabi and Georges St-Pierre.[7][8]
Ultimate Fighting Championship
Nasrat Haqparast faced Marcin Held on October 21, 2017 at UFC Fight Night 118.[8][9] He lost the fight via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).[10]
Nasrat faced Marc Diakiese on July 22, 2018 at UFC Fight night 134 event at Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg[11]. He won via unanimous decision from Diakiese with scores of 30-27 and 30-26.[12][13]
Nasrat is expected to fight against Thibault Gouti on October 27, 2018 in Moncton Canada, during UFC Fight Night 138.[14]
He is one of the 10 fighters to watch in the quarter final of UFC Fight Night 138.[15]
