Natalia Pogozheva (ukr. Погожева Наталія Григорівна, born August 13, 1962 in Khmelnytskiy region, Ukraine) – Ukrainian public figure in the sphere of institutional, agricultural and educational policy, Ph.D, Economic sciences, consultant for Ukrainian agricultural enterprises.

General Director, Vice-President of the Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation[1] (2005), co-founder of the Ukrainian Agribusiness Club, Ukrainian non-governmental organization, lobbying agribusiness interests. 

Initiator of the education system modernization concept for Ukraine[2].

Former advisor for institutional development and regulatory policy in Georgia, Madagascar and Mauritius.

Born in Khmelnytsky region. In 1984 graduated from the Ukrainian Agricultural Academy with honors. In 1990 defended Ph.D. thesis on "Features of Diversified Production Management".

In 1992 - 1993 MBA at the International Management, Kyiv, Ukraine.

Professional activity[edit]

1990-1994 – management consultant for Ukrainian agricultural enterprises.

1995-1996 – International Finance Corporation (World Bank Group), Consultant and Project Manager on Restructuring of Large Farms and Land Reform in Ukraine. Specific assignments included development of a strategy for reforming the collective farms in the Donetsk region and supply chain development for “Chumak” – a leading tomato ketchup producer and one of the first food processing companies with foreign investment in Ukraine.

1996 - 2005 - managing partner of “ProConsult” Ltd. and “MDP Consult” LLC – management consulting companies specializing in agri sector. Actively involved in organizing the EBRD Annual Meeting in Kiev 1998, received EBRD President's honorary diploma.

2011 - 2015 - Member of the Board of the Association for Regional Development.

Since  2016 - leader and ideologist of Ukraine Green Education initiative aimed at changing approaches to the standards of education in Ukraine.

Public and scientific activity[edit]

1996 - Counselor on the Policy of Agrarian Reform Development in Ukraine to the International Committee on Economic Reforms and Cooperation.

2005 - Vice President, General Director of the Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation, member of the Governmental Committee on Agriculture.[3]

2005 - 2006 - Member of the Council of Entrepreneurs of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine[4].

2007 – in cooperation with Alex Lissitsa founded of Ukrainian Agribusiness Club – professional association of large agribusiness companies.

2008 - 2009 - teacher of leadership, emotional intelligence and corporate governance at the KROK University.

In 2013, participated in the 8th "Responsible Leadership" seminar[5] of the Kyiv Aspen Institute.

2015 - participant of the 12th YES Annual Meeting.[6]
