Natalia Privalova is a New York City based fashion designer, founder of CAV1AR[1] brand, as well as film and music producer.

Early life[edit]

Born in Yekaterinburg (former Sverdlovsk) to a family of engineer and accountant. Graduated from the Ural State Technical University with a degree in Business Administration. In 2004 Natalia moved to New York in order to pursue a career in creative fields of art, fashion, music and films. She attended Art Students League of New York school and received a certificate in Interior Design from New York University in 2014.

Professional Accomplishments[edit]

In August 2006 a solo exhibit of her photo art (called "Images of Brooklyn")[2] took place at Cornelia Street Cafe in Manhattan.

In July 2010 a short award-winning film "Sunnyside"[3] was produced [4] by her in New York, together with famous Italian film director Ivano Fachin.

In November of 2017 Natalia launched a luxury fashion brand CAV1AR[1]. Its concept is based on the diversity, beauty and depth of the color Black, with a brand`s slogan "Addicted to Black". Entire collection of premium garments is made of natural fabrics like cotton, silk, rayon and leather. It is decorated with genuine Swarovski crystals. The designer aimed to create elegant, stylish yet comfortable line of clothing. Asymmetrical cut is one of the distinct features of most items in it. Aesthetic goals are achieved by combining black and semi-black materials of different textures to create a stunningly sophisticated visual effect.

Philanthropy work[edit]

Natalia is an avid supporter of various charities. The majority of her business profits go towards helping Green Peace, WWF, PETA, as well as funding education and medical care for underprivileged individuals and communities.
