Natalie Naomi Biden (born August 4, 2004) is the daughter of former Delaware attorney general Beau Biden. Biden is also the granddaughter of U.S. President Joe Biden and his first wife Neilia Hunter Biden and U.S. First Lady Jill Biden.[1][2][3]

Early life[edit]

Natalie Naomi Biden was born on August 4, 2004, in Wilmington, Delaware, to Beau Biden and Hallie Biden. Biden was born during the time her grandfather was still a U.S. senator.[4][5] Biden has a younger brother named Robert Biden ll.

Media appearance in the 2008 presidential election[edit]

During her early years, she appeared in the media in several states with her grandfather while he was campaigning during the 2008 presidential election as a vice presidential candidate.

After he was elected vice president in 2008, the Biden's moved to Washington, D.C., after her grandfather inaugurated as the 47th vice president on January 20, 2009.

The Biden's became the immediate second family of the United States and later moved into the Number One Observatory Circle.

In May 2015, her father died due to brain cancer.

Media appearance in the 2020 presidential election, Inauguration, and Life in the White House[edit]

Biden reappeared again after her grandfather announced his presidential campaign for the 2020 presidential election, and while appearing in many states while he was campaigning for president.

On November 7, 2020, her grandfather was elected the next president of the United States.[6][7][8] After he was elected president, the Biden's moved back to Washington, D.C., waiting upon his inauguration.

On January 20, 2021, Biden gained media attention after after she wore a pink coat to the her grandfather's presidential inauguration.[9][10] Some media outlets called her the “style icon of the inauguration.”[11][12]

The Biden's became the immediate new first family of the United States and later moved into the White House.[13][14][15]

During the 2022 midterm elections, she was pictured with her grandfather, voting for the very first time.[16][17]
