Natalie Morgan Tathem (born 3 December 1995) is an Australian professional women's football player who plays as a defender for Melbourne Victory in the Women's A league.

She has previously played for Brisbane Roar in the Womens A-league[1]. Natalie has over come many injuries however previous to this was born as premature baby who had to fight to overcome barriers since day one [2]

Club Career[edit]

Junior Football[edit]

Natalie grew up in South Brisbane where she first joined a local futsal team before joining Carina Football Club in a Boys team. From there she moved to a Girls team at the age of where she represented Wynnum Wolves FC. At age 15 she joined Annerley FC followed by Olympic FC playing in the National Premier League[3].

Brisbane Roar[edit]

Tathem was identified through the National Premier League System where who joined Brisbane Roar in their W-League Premiership winning campaign in 2017/18. It was here Natalie stayed for the following 5 seasons.

Melbourne Victory[edit]

In 2020/21 Tathem joined Melbourne victory win which they became the grand final winning team for that season. Tathem returned in the 2022/23 season after having a season back in her home city for the 2021/22 season.

Personal Life[edit]

Tathem is an Occupational Therapist working within the National Disability Insurance Scheme to support people of all ages to be able to achieve their goals and live independent lives. Natalie attended Brisbane State High School which led her to studying to gain a Bachelor in Occupational Therapy.
