Nate Caruso (born 8 August 2006), also known by the recording name n8c, is an Australian digital content creator, YouTuber, social media manager, podcast host and recording artist from Geelong, Victoria. He is best known as the co-founder of the entertainment brand and YouTube channel No Dir3ction, which he created alongside Noah Gall.
Caruso's work has included online video production, podcasting, social media management and music. He has also collaborated with his cousin, musician Ava Posterino
Early life and education
Caruso was born on 8 August 2006 and grew up in Geelong, Victoria. He is of Italian and Lebanese heritage.
From a young age, Caruso had an interest in digital entertainment and content creation, with aspirations of becoming a YouTuber. He later pursued this interest academically, studying a Bachelor of Digital and Social Media at Collarts (Australian College of the Arts) in Melbourne.
His studies have focused on areas including social media, content strategy, photography, video production, audio production and digital media.
Career
No Dir3ction
Caruso co-founded No Dir3ction with Noah Gall as a digital entertainment project.
The project initially operated as the No Dir3ction Podcast, with Caruso and Gall hosting conversations and producing podcast content together. After building an initial online community, the pair later shifted the focus of No Dir3ction towards YouTube and video-based entertainment.
The relaunched No Dir3ction focuses on personality-driven entertainment, challenges, competitions, group videos and vlogs. Caruso has been involved in the creative direction, video production, editing and thumbnail production for the channel.
Social media and digital content
Alongside No Dir3ction, Caruso has worked in social media management and digital content production.
He has managed social media content for Bell Park Sports Club in Geelong, producing digital content relating to the club, its sporting programs and community activities.
Music
Caruso has also worked in music under the name N8C.
In 2026, n8c appeared alongside his cousin, musician Ava Posterino as a producer.
