Nathan Ferraro
Nathan Ferraro is a Canadian songwriter and record producer. He is best known for writing and producing the Beyoncé song "Texas Hold 'Em". He has also worked on songs performed by Bülow and Charli XCX.
Career
Ferraro started writing songs at age 14.[1]
Ferraro was formerly the lead singer of the Midway State.[1][2] During this period, he collaborated with Lady Gaga.[3]
Ferraro worked with Bülow for "Not a Love Song".[3] Along with Bülow and Lowell, he also worked on the Charli XCX song "Yuck" and the Beyoncé single "Texas Hold 'Em".[3][4]
Accolades
Ferraro won the Music Canada Songwriting and Music Publishing 2x Platinum Award for "Texas Hold 'Em".[2]
Ferraro has won seven SOCAN awards.[2]
Ferraro was nominated for The Female Song of 2024 at the 2024 People's Choice Country Awards for "Texas Hold 'Em".[5]
Ferraro was nominated for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Country Song at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards for "Texas Hold 'Em".[6][7]
Ferraro was nominated for Songwriter of the Year, Non-Performer at the Juno Awards of 2025.[8] The body of work being nominated included "Texas Hold 'Em" as well as "Smoke" by Ari Lennox and "Who Do I Call Now? (Hellbent)" by Sofia Camara.[9]
