The National Archaeological Museum of Adria is a museum based in Adria, Veneto, Italy, in via Badini, that opened in 1961.[1]
It preserves finds from the collection of the Bocchi family, Roman discoveries around the city and pre-Roman archaeological sites, most importantly the first Greek emporium and the consequent Etruscan city. The Bocchi collection had started in 1780.[1]
In 1998, the museum hosted a special exhibition of 100 ancient glasses curated by Michele De Bellis, on loan from the Rijksmuseum van Oudheden, part of a collection of 549 pieces received in 1934 from Adria,[2] noted in 1957 by Clasina Isings.[3]
