National French Fry Day is a holiday celebrated in the United States that pays tribute to french fries.
History
Originally, National French Fry Day was a holiday observed on July 13th. However, a successful initiative started by the restaurant chain Checkers & Rally's in association with National Day Calendar (formed by Marlo Anderson) led the holiday to be changed to the second Friday in July.
