The National Gender Service (NGS) is a public transgender health care service in the Republic of Ireland providing services such as Gender-affirming hormone therapy, Surgery, Mental Health Supports and other services relating to Transgender health.
It is run by Ireland's Health Service Executive and is a public health service available to all Adult Irish Citizens seeking Gender-affirming care.
The current Clinical lead for the service is Dr. Karl Neff.[1]
