National Genomics Data Center
The National Genomics Data Center (NGDC) is one of the scientific divisions at the Beijing Institute of Genomics, Chinese Academy of Sciences and China National Center for Bioinformation (CNCB).[1] It was officially founded by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Finance of China on June 5, 2019, built on the BIG Data Center[2]
Mission
NGDC is dedicated to advancing life and health sciences[3]. Its primary mission is to build archive platforms and information systems, develop advanced algorithms and tools to translate big data into big discoveries, and provide open access to a suite of database resources in support of research activities of global users from both academia and industry[4][5][6]
