The National League Division 1 (formerly known as National League) is the 2nd tier men's basketball league in Ireland.[1] The league has 14 teams (13 in the Republic of Ireland and 1 in Northern Ireland)[2], and is an active member of Basketball Ireland, which is recognized by FIBA (also known as the International Basketball Federation) as the national governing body for basketball in Ireland.[3]
