National Lighting Company
National Lighting Company (Script error: The function "langx" does not exist.), also known as NLC, is a Saudi Arabian manufacturer of lighting products and integrated electrical systems, headquartered in Dammam, Eastern Province. The company produces LED lighting fixtures and provides smart-systems integration and energy and control solutions.[1]
History
National Lighting Company was established in 1993.[1] The company operates manufacturing facilities in Dammam's Second Industrial City and maintains a research and development centre.[1] It is led by chief executive officer Ali Al-Fayez.[2]
Operations
The company's activities are organised around three areas: lighting solutions; smart systems and integration; and energy and control.[1] NLC has supplied lighting for government, infrastructure, and commercial projects in Saudi Arabia.[1]
Industry role
In 2026, speaking at the Private Sector–Public Investment Fund Forum, the company said it was working with the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources to establish a non-profit association for lighting manufacturers, as part of efforts to localise the lighting supply chain in line with Saudi Vision 2030.[1] The company has stated that a majority of the Saudi lighting market is supplied by imports despite the local availability of raw materials.[2]
