National Wagyu Day is a celebration on June 21st, founded in 2022 by Steve Haddadin.[1] National Wagyu Day has three specific purposes:

  1. To gather with friends and enjoy the taste of wagyu.
  2. To celebrate the delicacy of wagyu beef.
  3. To spread awareness of the authentication process.[2]

Celebration[edit]

Participants are encouraged to go to a steakhouse that serves Japanese Wagyu and request a copy of the authentication certificate. Research the history of the wagyu on your plate by the authentication certificate.[3]
