Nature of Design
Nature of design is a web series that follows host Louisa Whitmore as she explores the concept of biophilia and biophilic design. We follow her to Toronto, Vancouver, Seattle, and Singapore. Louisa Whitmore combines her love of nature and architecture as she explores the idea of biophilic design.
Biophilia and Biophilic Design
Biophilia is the love of life and living things, and the concept that as humans we have a natural tendency to be connected to other forms of life in nature. Biophilic design is used to increase our connectivity to nature despite spending more time indoors than in nature. In this series we explore how incorporating nature, whether direct or indirect, can impact our health and well-being.
