Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa is a 2013-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer who assumed the role of Deputy Commissioner of Nawanshahr district in Punjab, India, in 2023.[1][2]
Career[edit]
Randhawa began his career as an IAS officer in 2013. Throughout his tenure, he has held various positions within the Indian Administrative Service. He served as the Chief Executive of Punjab Energy Development Authority (PEDA) and held the additional charge of Secretary for the Punjab State Information Commission.[3]
Association with Khatkar Kalan[edit]
During his tenure as Director of Cultural and Tourism Affairs, Randhawa was involved in the renovation of the ancestral house of martyr and freedom fighter Shaheed Bhagat Singh, as well as the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Museum and Memorial in Khatkar Kalan.[1]
