Early life and family background
Nazer Kazi was born on 1 December 1965 in Sindkhed Raja, Buldhana district, Maharashtra. His native birthplace is Sindkhed Raja. He pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B)[where?], later practicing as an advocate.
Historically, the Kazi family held the jagir of Sindkhed Raja Pargana for about 150 years between 1450 and 1600 before it was transferred to the local original family, and subsequently to Lakhojirao Raje Jadhav. Records note that during their tenure as jagirdars, the Kazi family maintained harmonious and cordial relations with the ryots (peasants). During the rule of Lakhojirao Raje Jadhav, a five-member committee was formed for judicial administration, in which members of the Kazi family also participated.[1]
Political career
Nazer Kazi has served as both Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Sindkhed Raja for ten consecutive years.
He is currently State President of the Minority Cell of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Maharashtra, and District President of the Nationalist Congress Party in Buldhana district.
He is also active as an advocate and is commonly referred to as "Adv. Nazer Kazi" in public and social media contexts.[1][2]
