Nazrul Islam Hall buet

Nazrul Islam Hall is one of oldest building at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology(BUET) that serve as dormitories. Located at Polashi Dhaka-1000, the building has four floors and a capacity of 250 students. Living quarters are mostly three person suites, and a few private doubles. The ground floor consists of a study lounge that provides an impressive view of BUET . The dining hall of Nazrul Islam Hall serves students who reside in this hall.

The building was constructed in ..... as first dormitory hotels. Above the entrance the name "নজরুল ইসলাম হল" can still be seen engraved in the concrete. It is named after the greatest Bangla Poet "Kazi Nazrul Islam". Students groups are trying to change its name to add Kobi(কবি) a bangla word which means poet
Students like the building for its quiet atmosphere. It is established in ........... by Dr. M A Rashid who was the first vice-chancellor of BUET.
