Nebula is an online video-hosting platform, a joint venture between Standard_(company) and a roster of curated creators[2]
While many, or possibly all, of the creators have well-established YouTube channels, Nebula doesn't try to position itself as a competitor of YouTube and differs in a few significant ways: it is not an open platform that accepts all new creators, it accepts content that may not be acceptable on YouTube, the platform does not use advertising to generate revenue, access to videos requires a paid subscription, and videos cannot be commented on. Revenue from paid subscriptions is shared between Standard and the creators based on their respective watch time.
Nebula apps are available on Google Play and Apple App Store.
