Nedžad Ajnadžić

Nedžad Ajnadžić (June 26, 1961, Rogatica[1]) is a former general of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Army of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Ajnadžić was the wartime commander of the 1st Corps of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He was born in Rogatica, where he finished elementary school, general high school, and the Military Academy in Belgrade. He specializes at the Naval Military Academy in Split. He received his master's degree at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Sarajevo on the topic "Political-sociological aspect and international-legal political significance of the defense of Sarajevo 1991-1995". During the war in BiH, he performed duties from brigade commander to commander of the 1st Sarajevo Corps A RBiH. In the period from 2016 to 2020, he served as the mayor of the Municipality of Centar Sarajevo.
