Neel Sethi (born December 22, 2003) is an Indian-American child actor who is best known for playing Mowgli in Jon Favreau's 2016 film based off of 1967 film of the same name.
Early life and Career[edit]
Sethi was born on December 22, 2003 to Cheena and Sam Sethi. He started his career in 2013 starring as Jay from the short Diawil. In 2016, he was selected by Jon Favreau as the role of Mowgli in the 2016 film based on the 1967 film instead of the other thousand boys auditioning for the role of Mowgil. Sethi had to exercise and do gym practice for the role of Mowgil because Mowgil has jungle skills. After finishing filming for The Jungle Book, Sethi decided to star in other films and television shows.
It is possible that Sethi will star in a sequel to The Jungle Book.
