Negative XP, also known as School Shooter, or simply Shooter, is an American e-punk musician. He is most well-known for his song "Scott Pilgrim vs The World Ruined a Whole Generation of Women". He has been credited for being the sole creator of the genre of "e-punk', formerly known as "Incelcore".

Rise to Fame

Negative XP's career began in 2019 on the popular music uploading and streaming service SoundCloud.[1]. Later, his music would be uploaded to YouTube where he saw his rise in fame from re-uploads of his works, eventually peaking in 2020 when a reupload of "Scott Pilgrim vs The World Ruined a Whole Generation of Women" reached 6.8 million views[2]. With more people listening and reaching his song, his career and motives began to be put to question mainly by leftists and women, hitting a peak on March 30th, 2022 when Atlanta Antifa doxxed his full name, home address, and other personal information[3]. Since then, he has gone onto release the third album in the Gamer trilogy, Gamer III.

Controversies

His works have been met with loads of controversies, with clashes with online leftists, other artists, music critics, and even streaming services being constant. On December 19th, 2020, Negative XP claimed to nationalfile.com that SoundCloud was refusing to pay him for his songs, even making a song about the event. He has also had constant mentions from Anthony Fantano and other YouTube music critics on his work, with Fantano saying "ding ding ding, lol!" to when someone replied to a tweet of his with one of Negative XP's songs after he posted, "wondering what kind of rut you need to be to be stuck in to be recording lo-fi incel rock songs that are all just wavves ripoffs and then upload them to soundcloud. yikes." To which, Negative XP again made a song about[4].

In 2021, Negative XP and other e-punk artists preformed at an organized show "Virginfest", which was raided by Antifa, causing them to have to move to a local park and preform "Virginfest Un-Plugged"[5]
