Negi Koli

The Negi Koli is a clan (Gotra, Kutumb) of Koli caste mostly found in the Indian states of Himachal Pradesh and Uttrakhand and the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and nearby areas. Negi Kolis ruled over Koligarh fort in Garhwal of Uttarakhand. Last Koli ruler of Koligarh was Jhagad Singh Negi who was defeated by Ajaypal of Garhwal Kingdom after that Koligarh fort of Negi Kolis was annexed in Garhwal Kingdom.[1][2][3]
