Jorge Ruiz (born March 10, 1990) known professionally as Negrosparty, is an American radio personality, influencer and music video model. He is the street personality for the radio show on Uforia, La Gozadera con Brea Frank and Shino Aguakate.
Prior to his work on La Gozadera, he worked for several local radio stations and also Spanish Broadcasting System at the radio station La Mega 97.9. In addition, he hosts the podcast show A Lo Oscuro with Negrosparty[1] where the conversations range from sex to entertainment and more.
Early Life
Ruiz was born to Jorge Ruiz Sr (Cuban) and Carmen Rodriguez (Dominican) on March 10, 1990 in Jersey City, New Jersey at the Jersey City Medical Center. Quickly after his birth, he moved around the states from New Jersey, Massachusetts and Ohio. He grew up in the Dominican Republic between Santo Domingo and Hato Mayor Del Rey where he worked on plantain and corn fields.
After his mother separated from her last partner she decided to move back to the United States in West New York, New Jersey. Where he spent his teenage years as a student athlete in Memorial High School and he graduated in 2008.
Ruiz continued his Track Career[2][3][4] while he was attending Ramapo College of New Jersey and later became part of the first Latin fraternity in the nation, Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity Inc[5][6]. Ruiz graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey with Spanish Language Studies, minors in mathematics and psychology.
Early Career Radio
WRPR 90.3
WRPR[7] is a radio station that is organized and operated by students with a free format broadcasting from Ramapo College of New Jersey. Early in his time at WRPR 90.3, Ruiz was a guest on one of their prime time radio segments which led to him being part of Don't Get It Twist Radio Show[8] with DJ Negro and Rory. This show was established in the middle of the Fall semester of 2011
Tumba La Casa Radio
Tumba La Casa Radio (TLCR) was an online radio station with a Latin Urban format. Ruiz in his career at TLCR established the station's #1 show for the time the group was there with Your Girlfriends Trending Topic show. After the station location was moved to a different county the show came to an end.
La Mega 97.9
In 2017, after being a teacher in Newark, NJ, Ruiz decided to step away from education and work full time in radio at La Mega 97.9 and Amor 93.1. While at La Mega and Amor he was able to interview Amara La Negra[9], Nicky Jam, Luis Fonsi, Henry Santos[10], Becky G[11] and more artists. After a year at Spanish Broadcasting Systems radio station La Mega 97.9 and Amor 93.1 he was fired.
Rejectz Worldwide Radio
Due to Ruiz's success in the previous radio station, two months later, he was offered a position at Rejectz Worldwide Radio[12]. This was the beginning of A Lo Oscuro with Negrosparty. Rejectz Worldwide Radio is a radio station with independent artist music that is live 24 hours.
La X 96.3
In 2018, Ruiz was offered a position as content director at WXNY La X 96.3 that later became the street representative of their morning show La Gozadera con Brea Frank y Shino Aguakate on WXNY in Teaneck, New Jersey. The show was started to compete with La Mega 97.9, one of the most popular Latin morning shows in New York.
