Major General Neil Darren Grant, DSO, MC is a senior officer of the British Army. He is currently serving as the Chief of Staff of the Allied Rapid Reaction Corps.[1]
Military career
Grant was commissioned in the Worcestershire and Sherwood Foresters Regiment.
As a Major, he received the Military Cross for his actions during operations in Afghanistan. He had taken part in the Operation Herrick and the Operation Panther's Claw as well.[2]
Later, he served as Assistant Chief of Staff Land Special Operations Forces, Deputy Commander of Allied Special Operations Forces Command and the Chief of Staff Joint Force Headquarters. As of 2025, he is serving as the Chief of Staff of Allied Rapid Reaction Corps.[3]
