Neill King

Neill King (born October 22, 1957 in Wimbledon, Surrey) is an English record producer and recording engineer. He studied classical music and trumpet on leaving Wimbledon College, then trained as a recording engineer at Eden Studios, Chiswick, London, before working throughout the UK and Europe with artists such as Elvis Costello, Nick Lowe, Madness, The Undertones, Squeeze, A-ha, The Smiths, Shakin' Stevens, Joe Jackson, Rockpile, Phil Everly, Cliff Richard, Billy Bremner, Dr. Feelgood, The Jets, John Hiatt, The Long Ryders, Little Richard, Billy Fury, Men Without Hats, Spear of Destiny, Transvision Vamp, The Saints, Jean Patrick Capdevielle, and La Bionda amongst others.

United States

King moved to California in 1990 and continued producing, engineering and mixing records in the US, Canada and Australia for Green Day, Menswe@r, The Muffs, Jawbreaker, Mother Hips, Jebediah, Tuuli, The Supertones, Gob, Bleach, Cadet, Slick Shoes, The Undecided, All Star United, Pluto, Waking Hours, Age of Electric, Buck-O-Nine, Vallejo, Texas Tornados, Dada, Celine Dion, Robert Cray, John Campbell, The Buzzcocks and En Vogue. King also worked on several Hollywood movies.
