Career[edit]
Wong studied improvisation in Vancouver with David C. Jones and Ben Ratner. He is known for his role as Kenny Kwon, assistant of the gay private investigator Donald Strachey, in four films directed by Ron Oliver. Since 2004, he is a member of the Asian Canadian sketch comedy troupe "Assaulted Fish" (in Vancouver), along with Diana Bang, Marlene Dong, and Kuan Foo.[1]
Personal life[edit]
Nelson Wong was born in New Zealand and raised in Canada. He wanted to become comic book illustrator. He is the brother of Anna Wong, who also played roles in TV series, and Lorna Wong. His father is from Canton, China and his mother is from Hong Kong. He is an out gay man.[1]
